The strong current washed away gradually portions of a house and a tree to the river.Residents were alarmed when a man was seen standing in the middle of the swollen river despite the strong current. Moments later, the man attempted to cross but was carried away by the rushing waters.

Residents also worked together to carry a pregnant woman who was about to give birth after she was caught in floodwaters. She was rescued safely.Several houses were also submerged while rescuers assisted residents affected by the flooding.

MalapitanIn Malapatan town, a man was rescued after he was trapped in a river when the water level rose suddenly.However, the bridge connecting Malapatan to Glan was closed to the public after it was damaged by severe flooding. Only one lane of the bridge is currently passable for motorists as restoration works continue.
