White House posts bizarre ‘Rick and Morty’-style cartoon of Trump and Vance after creator’s revealing admission

The White House has posted a Rick and Morty-inspired video starring Donald Trump and JD Vance, a day after the show’s co-creator acknowledged a debt to the commander-in-chief.The 36-second clip, captioned “Hop in... best dimension yet,” parodies the cult Adult Swim cartoon’s opening title sequence, with Trump standing in for the cantankerous scientist Rick and Vance for the impressionable sidekick Morty.

Interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter about the new project, Harmon said: “The conversations about Obama and Trump were inevitable.“Curtis has a naïveté that you could overlap with Trump, who is like, ‘I’m an outsider, and I consider this job simple, and I don’t care about the bureaucracy of it.’ On the Obama side, it’s the charmer and the guy who gets organic joy in being liked – that whole rock star aspect of Obama.
